The following are some basic steps that should be taken to protect your system.

• Keep Windows Up to Date
  • If you own Windows XP, turn on Automatic Updates.
  • Windows 98/ME Users, go to windowsupdate.microsoft.com
• Install Current Anti-Virus Software
  • We recommend AVG Anti-Virus, which is completely free for personal use.
  • If Norton Anti-Virus came with your computer, you may not be protected.
• Install Current Anti-Spyware Software
  • For Windows XP Users, download Microsoft Anti-Spyware.
  • Windows 98/ME, Spybot S&D

If you are already infected, and cannot remove the offending software, contact us for our on-site service. We always install the previously mentioned programs if a solution is not present on your system.
