In ours and other colleagues experience with Norton products, they are not sufficient protection and waste a large portion of your system resources, resulting in a major slowdown in system performance. This slowdown in performance only multiplies the issues you would experience if indeed a virus or other malware were running.

Norton also requires that you pay for a subscription to keep your antivirus software up to date. If you have Norton Antivirus installed on your computer, but have not paid for a subscription, you are not protected. We have even come across several systems with a current subscription that still have not detected nor removed the viruses that were present on their computer.

For your system's protection, we recommended AVG Antivirus, which has caught and removed viruses that Norton would not detect.
